The Life Of An Entrepreneur.

For those of your working the normal 9-5, you might not understand this too well.

Most people are good people. They care for you and are willing to provide guidance and support. They give you positive feedback, reinforce your beliefs and support your vision and plan.

That is all very true, unless you skew from the norm.

If you are graduating or have graduated college, and you are planning to get a job, then 'you're fine'. You're on the way to success... living the 'perfect', 'normal' life. Everyone believes in you, they support your plan and goals, and they offer any guidance that they can give you. They assume you'll 'make it.'

What if you don't take that path?

What if you have your own idea of what life is and what 'making it' truly means?

Oh boy, get ready for the ridicule, or envy.

People who don't go with the flow, are cast as outsiders. They are failures. They are nonconformist.

That is until they succeed. Then they are a genius. They are the smartest of the smart. They are the next Fortune 500 CEO and majority owner.

There is a huge misconception in this world. 99% of people believe that the only way to 'make it' is to get lucky. You NEED to go to college, you NEED to get a normal 9-5, you NEED to work a 40 hour work week, and you NEED to get married and have kids.

You don't NEED any of those things.

In fact, many of those things are detriments to the dream of being the next billionaire, the next success story, the next big IPO.

Let me tell you, in order to reach the top, you need to start at the bottom. You need to throw away all distractions. You force yourself to take the outsider route. You need to bury yourself in your brain and company and work work work.

40 hour work week, easy. Try working from the moment you open your eyes to the moment you close them. All you can think about is someone trying to beat you to your goal or dream. The stress of not knowing when and if your investment will pay off. The anxiety you feel when someone asks you what you do and having to explain EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY aspect of what you do, just to get looked down upon...and if they don't look down at you, they envy your courage, because they don't have the guts to throw it all away.

You have become distant with your friends (not because you want to, but because you have no other choice), peers and family friends feel bad for you, others embarrassed.

Guess what?

One day when you make it to the top, those same people will be telling everyone how they met you. They will look at you like that shimmering light, that shining star. that diamond in the rough.

Just know this, to get to the top, you first need to start at the bottom. Don't judge someone based on where they are now. Judge them by their character, their courage, and their sacrifice to do what they believe must be done.
